COVID-19 Update for November 30, 2021

St. Luke Lutheran Community – North Canton COVID-19 update for November 30, 2021.

Today several staff members and one resident tested positive for COVID-19. The resident was placed in isolation precautions and their responsible party and physician have been notified. The staff members were removed from the schedule and will not return to work until cleared by their local health department.

All staff and residents were tested today and will be tested again Friday, December 3.

Residents continue to be monitored for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. If signs or symptoms are identified, residents will be tested and precautions implemented. ​Staff continue to wear proper PPE, follow social distancing and hand hygiene guidelines.

With the positivity rate in Stark County remaining high in the red, we remind everyone to be mindful of infection control practices while in our facility. We encourage residents, staff and visitors to get the COVID Vaccination and booster if they are able. For risks and benefits and vaccination locations, please see our website.

Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of the facility continue to reduce the risk of transmission-based infection.

COVID-19 Update for November 26, 2021

Hello, this is St. Luke Lutheran Community – North Canton with a COVID-19 update for November 26, 2021.

Today a resident has tested positive for COVID-19. They have been placed in isolation precautions and their responsible party and physician have been notified.

All staff and residents were tested today. During today’s strategic testing, an additional resident and a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member has been removed from the schedule and will not return until cleared by their local health department. All staff and residents will be tested again Tuesday, November 30.

Visitation is still permitted, however please be aware of the risk of increased transmission of COVID-19 at this time. If you aren’t feeling well or have signs/symptoms, please do not visit at this time.

Today a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual has not worked during the past week. They were removed from the schedule and will not return to work until cleared by their local health department.

Unvaccinated staff will be tested again Friday, November 26.

Residents continue to be monitored for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. If signs or symptoms are identified, residents will be tested and precautions implemented. ​Staff continue to wear proper PPE, follow social distancing and hand hygiene guidelines.
