06/20/2022: St. Luke Lutheran Community – North Canton COVID-19 update.

A staff member and a resident have tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member has been removed from the schedule and will not return to work until cleared by their local health department. The resident has been placed in isolation precautions and their responsible party and physician have been notified.

All staff and residents will be tested again per health department guidelines and regulations.

Residents continue to be monitored for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. If signs or symptoms are identified, residents will be tested and precautions implemented.  Staff continue to wear proper PPE, follow social distancing and hand hygiene guidelines.

With the positivity rate in Stark County remaining high in the red, we remind everyone to be mindful of infection control practices while in our facility. We encourage residents, staff and visitors to get the COVID Vaccination and booster if they are able. For risks and benefits and vaccination locations, please see our website.
