COVID-19 Update for May 7, 2021

St. Luke Lutheran Community – North Canton weekly COVID-19 update for May 7, 2021.

We currently have no new cases of COVID-19 among residents or staff from today’s testing.

Residents continue to be monitored for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Staff continue to wear proper PPE and follow social distancing and hand hygiene guidelines.

Per ODH Guidelines, staff who are not fully vaccinated will be tested two times per week – the next testing date being Tuesday, May 11. Fully vaccinated staff and residents will be tested upon symptoms or a reported positive case at the facility.

We continue to work closely in collaboration with the Stark County Health Department and follow their strategic guidelines to reduce the risk of transmission based infection.

COVID-19 Update for May 3, 2021

St. Luke Lutheran Community – North Canton COVID-19 update for May 3, 2021.

We were notified today that a non-direct care staff member tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member has been removed from the schedule and will not return to work until cleared by their local health department.

No residents tested positive from today’s testing.

We are in the process of testing all staff members that previously tested negative today and tomorrow, Tuesday, May 4.

We continue to work closely in collaboration with the Stark County Health Department and follow their strategic guidelines to reduce the risk of transmission based infection.

Until testing of all staff and residents is complete, we ask that you please re-schedule any regular visits that were scheduled for Tuesday, May 4. Please contact the facility at 330-499-8341 to do so.

A contracted staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. They have been removed from the schedule and will not be permitted to return to work until they have completed the guidelines set forth by their local health department.

Following the guidance from the local health department, the residents that were exposed to this staff member have been placed in isolation and their responsible party and physician have been notified.

We currently have no positive cases among residents. Residents continue to be monitored for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Staff continue to wear proper PPE and follow social distancing and hand hygiene guidelines.

Following the guidance from the local health department, the residents that were exposed to this staff member have been placed in isolation and their responsible party and physician have been notified.

Residents were tested today and no new cases were identified. Residents continue to be monitored for signs and symptoms of COVID-19.

A contracted staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. They have not been in the building since symptom onset. They have been removed from the schedule and will not return to work until they have completed guidelines set forth by their local health department. 

We have no new positive cases of COVID-19 among residents. Residents continue to be monitored for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Staff continue to wear proper PPE and follow social distancing and hand hygiene guidelines.

Residents and staff that have previously tested negative will be tested again Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

Assisted Living residents received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine this week.

St. Luke Lutheran Community – North Canton weekly COVID-19 update for January 29, 2021.

We have no new positive cases of COVID-19 among residents or staff. Residents continue to be monitored for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Staff continue to wear proper PPE and follow social distancing and hand hygiene guidelines.

Residents and staff that have previously tested negative will be tested again Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

Assisted Living residents received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine this week.

We are continuing to work closely in collaboration with the Stark County Health Department and following their strategic guidelines to reduce the risk of transmission based infection.

A staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. They have been removed from the schedule and will not be will be permitted to return to work until they have completed the guidelines set forth by their local health department.

We have no new positive cases of COVID-19 among residents. Residents continue to be monitored for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Staff continue to wear proper PPE and follow social distancing and hand hygiene guidelines.

Residents and staff that have previously tested negative will be tested again Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

Skilled nursing residents and staff received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine last week. Assisted Living residents will receive their second dose on January 27.

Residents and staff that have previously tested negative will be tested again tomorrow Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

Assisted living residents received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine last week. Skilled nursing residents and staff will receive their second dose tomorrow Tuesday, January 12.
