At St. Luke Lutheran Community and The St. Luke Foundation, we work to ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being of our residents in our facilities in Akron, North Canton, and Minerva. Donations in support of The St. Luke Foundation ensure that we can further our mission of “providing faith-based services to enrich the lives of older adults.” During a global pandemic, that work hasn’t stopped. Instead, it has been elevated to protect the health and safety of the vulnerable population we serve. Like many other organizations, our Annual Golf Outing – the biggest fundraiser of the year – was cancelled, leaving us to find alternative methods to secure funding to provide for our residents.
