From GivingPlus to Thrivent Choice: What does this mean?
Thank you Thrivent members for supporting the St. Luke Foundation by multiplying your gifts through the Thrivent GivingPlus program.
The 2009 GivingPlus program resulted in more than $67 million to Lutheran organizations from Thrivent Financial and its members. This program will no longer continue.
Instead, it has been replaced by a new program called Thrivent Choice. If you are a member of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, you have a new, easy way to help support what matters most to you—even St. Luke Lutheran Community.
Through Thrivent ChoiceSM, members can help choose where Thrivent Financial distributes some of its charitable funds each year.
Choice DollarsSM
Eligible benefit members are designated Choice Dollars. By directing Choice Dollars, they can request funding for thousands of Lutheran organizations nationwide, including St. Luke Lutheran Community.
Watch your August mail for a letter from Thrivent informing you of the program and the amount of Choice Dollars you are eligible to direct. If you are uncertain about your eligibility, visit Thrivent Choice online, contact your local Thrivent Financial representative, or sign up for monthly email updates about Thrivent Choice.
