Frequently Asked Questions
How big are the apartments? How many rooms are there?
Click here to see the layout of the various apartment styles at the Waterford. With one and two bedroom, balcony and patio styles to choose from, you''re sure to find the place the best suits your needs.
Is there a waiting list? How often do apartments become available?
Most times, yes. It would depend on the style of apartment that would best meet your needs as to how quickly that style would become available. For example, if you only want a specific floor. The most important thing is to get on a list.
How many lists do you have?
Current residents have the first right of refusal for an available apartment. The Connection Club is another option for those who want called and are under no obligation. The Premium Connection requires a deposit of $150 that is applied to the required security deposit once a lease is signed. If you do not sign a lease after the second call, you will forfeit the deposit and be removed from the list. If your health status is the reason you cannot accept an apartment, the deposit is refunded.
How affordable is the Waterford?
The Waterford has a convenient, monthly fee. There is no requirement for endowment, entry fee or equity purchase. Your money is free to work for you, not tied up in real estate.
Take a look above at all you receive for one reasonable fee. The predictable monthly fee is a real benefit to people living on fixed incomes because there are no surprises, no home maintenance costs and no taxes. This all adds up to peace of mind and real value!

What happens if I need medical attention?
Each apartment is equipped with an emergency alert system that is monitored 24-hours a day through the in-house telephone system. In addition, the North Canton Emergency Medical Service has access to the Waterford by dialing "911".
I no longer drive. Is transportation available?
We provide transportation each Wednesday to local banks, grocery, and drug stores. Due to our location our 14-passenger bus can make as many trips as necessary to accommodate our residents' needs. For medical appointments we encourage SARTA use and reimburse this cost when notified in writing of the doctor's name, date and time of appointment.
Do you offer special diets for different medical conditions?
We offer varied menus. You select the items you like or are permitted subject to your individual medical need.
May I have housekeeping more than every other week?
Additional housekeeping and maintenance services available at a nominal cost.
